Voyah Passion S could become one of Dongfeng’s first European-bound premium EVs, combining Xiaomi YU7-like styling with up to 646 hp and 800-volt charging tech.

Dongfeng’s premium EV brand Voyah is preparing a new crossover called the Passion S, and it may eventually become more than just another China-only electric SUV. The model arrives as Stellantis explores a deeper partnership with Dongfeng that could allow Voyah vehicles to be built and sold in Europe.

That plan would follow a familiar pattern. Stellantis already handles international expansion for Leapmotor, and a similar arrangement with Dongfeng could give Voyah a shortcut into European showrooms. If that happens, the Passion S looks like a logical candidate: it is large, powerful, tech-focused and shaped more like a global premium crossover than a domestic niche model.

The design is clearly aimed at the sporty EV SUV crowd. The front end uses split headlights connected by a full-width LED strip, with black lower intakes and a dark splitter. A roof-mounted LiDAR unit signals advanced driver-assistance hardware, while the side profile features a long roofline, black wheel-arch trim and 21-inch wheels.

The rear three-quarter view is where comparisons with the Xiaomi YU7 become most obvious. The Passion S has rounded rear haunches, a wide stance and a sporty fixed carbon-fiber spoiler. It is not a direct copy, but it clearly follows the same fast electric crossover trend.

Chinese reports suggest the Passion S measures 5,050 mm long, 1,998 mm wide and 1,656 mm tall, with a 3,000 mm wheelbase. That puts it firmly in the large premium SUV class. Interior images have not been released yet.

Powertrain details are still incomplete, but two versions are expected. The rear-wheel-drive model should produce around 408 hp, while the dual-motor all-wheel-drive version is said to offer up to 646 hp. That is below the most extreme versions of the Xiaomi YU7, but still more than enough to place the Passion S among high-performance electric SUVs.

The model will also use an 800-volt architecture, which should allow fast DC charging. Battery size, range and charging times have not been confirmed yet.

Sales timing and pricing for China remain unknown. The bigger question is whether Stellantis and Dongfeng finalize their European deal. If they do, Voyah could become another Chinese EV brand entering Europe through a major Western manufacturer — and the Passion S may be one of the first models to test that strategy.
