Ram Rumble Bee Returns as a 777 HP Street Truck
Ram Rumble Bee returns as a new street-truck family, topped by a 777 hp SRT version that can hit 60 mph in 3.4 seconds.
Ram is bringing back the street-performance pickup idea with the new 2027 Ram 1500 Rumble Bee lineup. Instead of following the off-road-focused formula used by many modern performance trucks, the Rumble Bee family is built around road speed, short-wheelbase proportions and V8 power.
The range will include three main versions: the standard Rumble Bee, the stronger Rumble Bee 392, and the flagship Rumble Bee SRT. All use a special Quad Cab body with a shorter 5-foot-7-inch bed, something not normally offered with this cab configuration. As a result, the truck measures 5,575 mm long and has a wheelbase shortened by 330 mm, helping improve proportions, handling and body stiffness.
The entry-level Rumble Bee uses a 5.7-liter Hemi V8 with 395 hp and 555 Nm of torque. It skips eTorque and stop-start tech but keeps cylinder deactivation. Paired with an eight-speed automatic and active four-wheel drive, it can reach 60 mph in 6.1 seconds and run the quarter mile in 14.6 seconds. A dedicated rear-wheel-drive button disconnects the front axle for a more traditional muscle-truck feel.

Ram has also reworked the chassis. The Rumble Bee gets a wider track, independent front suspension, a five-link rear setup, Bilstein monotube performance shocks, stronger stabilizer bars and larger brakes. Towing capacity for the base model is rated at 8,890 pounds.
The design makes the truck easy to recognize. A widebody kit, vented performance hood, flow-through RAM grille, body-color fender flares, front fender vents and 22-inch wheels give it a much more aggressive stance than a regular Ram 1500.
The middle version is the Rumble Bee 392, which brings a 6.4-liter Hemi V8 to the 1500 lineup. Output rises to 470 hp and 616 Nm, cutting the 0–60 mph time to 5.2 seconds and the quarter mile to 13.2 seconds. It also gets a richer interior with power front seats, yellow stitching, a larger 12-inch infotainment screen and a 10-speaker Alpine audio system.

For buyers who want a more focused setup, Ram will offer the Rumble Bee 392 Track Pack. It adds a more aggressive aero kit with a front splitter, aero shield and tailgate spoiler, generating 87 kg of downforce at 274 km/h. It also gets wider rear tires, adjustable air suspension, Bilstein Damptronic Sky semi-active shocks, Brembo front brakes and an electronically locking rear differential.
At the top sits the Rumble Bee SRT, described as the most powerful, quickest and fastest V8-powered production pickup. It uses a supercharged 6.2-liter Hellcat V8 producing 777 hp and 921 Nm. With an upgraded eight-speed automatic, the SRT can accelerate from 0–60 mph in 3.4 seconds, reach 170 mph, and complete the quarter mile in 11.6 seconds.
The SRT largely builds on the 392 Track Pack hardware but adds an upgraded cooling system and a higher towing capacity of 8,580 pounds. Its cabin is also more upscale, with Natura Plus leather and suede seats, Desert Orange stitching, carbon-fiber trim, a 14.5-inch infotainment screen, metal pedals and suede on the headliner, pillars and visors.

Production will take place in Saltillo, Mexico. The 5.7-liter Rumble Bee is expected to arrive first later this year, while the Rumble Bee 392 and Rumble Bee SRT are scheduled to follow in the first half of 2027.
