Porsche's Earls Court 51 Edition Makes the 911 S/T Look Like a Bargain
Porsche's newest UK-only 911 GT3 Touring special edition costs more than the range-topping 911 S/T—and it's limited to just 51 examples.
Porsche loves a good anniversary tie-in, and its latest one arrives exclusively for British enthusiasts. The Earls Court 51 Edition celebrates 75 years of Porsche's presence in the UK, a nod back to 1951 when the very first 356 models touched down on British soil and were unveiled at the Earls Court Motor Show in London. Fittingly, only 51 units of this GT3-based tribute will ever be built, and none will leave the country.
Underpinning the car is the 911 GT3 Touring, paired here with Porsche's cherished manual gearbox rather than the PDK automatic. That combination alone makes it a magnet for purists, but Porsche has dressed it up further with a bespoke Earls Court Green metallic finish, a new addition to the Paint to Sample plus program. A small silver badge sits front and center on the hood, while silver mirror caps, door handles, and unique two-tone wheels—20 inches up front, 21 out back—round out the exterior theme.

Step inside and the green motif continues in a way that's hard to ignore. Night Green leather covers the upper dash, steering wheel, sections of the door panels, and even the front trunk lining. Porsche balances that boldness with Chalk Beige leather across the seats and most other cabin surfaces, while Paldao wood trim adds a warmer touch to the gear knob, dashboard, seatbacks, and center console. It's a striking cabin, whether or not you're sold on the green exterior wrapping around it.
Every Earls Court 51 Edition comes loaded with the 18-way adjustable Adaptive Sports Seats Plus, embossed headrests, and LED door projectors as standard, alongside a bundle of ownership extras—a duffel bag, a 1:18 scale replica of the car, and a Porsche Design chronograph watch. It's the kind of package meant to make buyers feel like they're getting something genuinely bespoke, not just a repainted GT3.

Mechanically, nothing has been touched. The 4.0-liter naturally aspirated flat-six carries over unchanged, still producing 503 horsepower and 332 lb-ft of torque, and still revving with the kind of theater that keeps GT3 Touring buyers loyal to naturally aspirated power. That's arguably the point—the Earls Court 51 Edition isn't about extracting more performance, but about wrapping familiar excellence in something rarer and more personal.
What truly makes this car newsworthy is the price tag. At £251,951, the Earls Court 51 Edition costs roughly £20,000 more than the 911 S/T, previously considered the most expensive and exclusive variant in the standard 911 GT3 lineup. That a special-edition Touring model can now eclipse the S/T in cost shows just how far Porsche is willing to push exclusivity pricing when scarcity and heritage storytelling are involved.

For UK buyers with deep pockets and a taste for Porsche history, the Earls Court 51 Edition represents a rare chance to own a piece of both British and Porsche lore. For everyone else, it's a reminder that as manual gearboxes and naturally aspirated engines become rarer, Porsche knows exactly how much collectors are willing to pay to keep them alive.
