Porsche expands the Cayenne Electric family with a sleeker Coupe version, offering improved aerodynamics, up to 668 km of WLTP range and a 1,156 hp Turbo flagship.

Porsche has added a coupe-style body variant to the Cayenne Electric lineup, giving its new battery-powered SUV a sportier silhouette and slightly better aerodynamic efficiency. The model has been revealed in three versions from launch: Cayenne Coupe Electric, Cayenne S Coupe Electric and Cayenne Turbo Coupe Electric.

The biggest change is the roofline. Compared with the regular Cayenne Electric, the Coupe has a lower and more sloping profile, with Porsche trying to bring its shape closer to the visual language of the 911. The windshield and front pillars have been repositioned, the side glass has a new outline, and the overall height has been reduced by 24 mm.

The rear end has also been redesigned. The tailgate features a pronounced upper section with an active spoiler, which works together with active front air flaps and, on the Turbo version, deployable aerodynamic elements. As a result, the drag coefficient drops to 0.23, compared with 0.25 for the standard Cayenne Electric. The dimensions remain close to the regular SUV: 4,985 mm long, 1,980 mm wide and 1,650 mm tall, with a 3,023 mm wheelbase.

Inside, the Coupe keeps the same digital-focused cabin as the regular Cayenne Electric. The dashboard uses Porsche’s four-screen layout, including the curved OLED Flow Display, while the high center console and three-spoke multifunction steering wheel are also carried over. The trade-off is in practicality: rear-seat space is reduced, and buyers can choose either two individual rear seats or a 2+1 rear bench layout.

Cargo capacity is also lower than in the standard SUV. The rear trunk offers 534 to 1,347 liters, while the regular Cayenne Electric provides 781 to 1,588 liters. The front trunk remains unchanged at 90 liters.

Porsche has given the Coupe a more performance-oriented equipment list. A panoramic roof is standard and can be ordered with electrochromic glass. Sport Chrono is available, along with a Lightweight Sport Package that adds a carbon-fiber roof, carbon interior trim, 22-inch wheels, sport tires and a weight reduction of 17.6 kg.

Technically, the Coupe mirrors the regular Cayenne Electric. It is built on the 800-volt PPE platform and comes standard with dual electric motors, all-wheel drive, air suspension and Porsche Active Suspension Management. Options include Porsche Active Ride and rear-wheel steering with up to five degrees of steering angle. All versions use a 113 kWh Li-NCMA battery and support high-speed DC charging at up to 390–400 kW.

The entry-level Cayenne Coupe Electric produces 408 hp, or up to 442 hp and 835 Nm with overboost and launch control. It accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.8 seconds and reaches 230 km/h. Thanks to its cleaner aero profile, WLTP range rises to 661 km, compared with 643 km for the regular version.

The Cayenne S Coupe Electric increases output to 544 hp, or up to 666 hp and 1,080 Nm at peak. It reaches 100 km/h in 3.8 seconds, has a top speed of 250 km/h and offers up to 668 km of WLTP range.

At the top of the range is the Cayenne Turbo Coupe Electric. In normal driving, it delivers 857 hp, but overboost raises output to 1,156 hp and 1,500 Nm. Porsche claims 0–100 km/h in just 2.5 seconds, a top speed of 260 km/h and up to 628 km of WLTP range.

German pricing starts at €109,000 for the base Cayenne Coupe Electric, compared with €105,200 for the standard SUV. The Cayenne S Coupe Electric starts at €130,300, while the Turbo version begins at €168,500 before options.
