Fiat Grizzly and Grizzly Fastback Previewed as New Global Family Models
Fiat Grizzly and Grizzly Fastback expand the brand’s global family-car lineup with SUV and coupe-SUV body styles, multiple powertrains and compact dimensions.
Fiat has released the first official image of the new Grizzly and Grizzly Fastback, two upcoming global models designed to strengthen the brand’s presence in the C-segment.
The pair will sit above the Grande Panda and form part of Fiat’s renewed push into affordable family mobility. Both models share the same global platform, but they target different buyers.
The Grizzly is the more practical of the two. It has a more upright SUV shape, compact proportions and a cabin-focused layout aimed at families. Fiat says the design prioritizes interior height, space and everyday usability, making it suitable for both city driving and longer trips.
The Grizzly Fastback takes a more dynamic approach. Its sleeker roofline gives it a more expressive look, while Fiat says it will offer greater longitudinal cargo space, making it better suited to lifestyle use and longer-distance travel.
Both models will measure under 4.5 meters long, but Fiat claims they will offer strong interior space and best-in-class trunk capacity. The company also promises refined cabins, useful technology and a distinctive LED light signature.
Powertrain options will be broad, ranging from petrol engines to fully electric versions. Fiat has not yet released technical specifications, battery sizes, range figures or performance data.
The Grizzly family is part of a global industrial project and will be distributed across multiple regions, including Europe, the Middle East and Latin America. This should allow Fiat to keep production flexible and stay closer to key markets.
The Fiat Grizzly and Grizzly Fastback are scheduled to launch in Europe, the Middle East and Africa in the second half of 2026.
