Caterham Seven Nürburgring Edition Honors the Green Hell’s 100th Anniversary
Caterham Seven Nürburgring Edition celebrates 100 years of the legendary circuit with bespoke Bilstein suspension, special styling and a 100-car production run.
Caterham is celebrating the Nürburgring’s 100th anniversary with a new limited-run version of the Seven. Called the Seven Nürburgring Edition, the model pays tribute to one of the world’s most famous circuits with special chassis tuning, unique design details and official Nürburgring branding.
Production will be limited to 100 cars worldwide. Depending on market, the special edition will be based on either the Seven 420R or Seven 340R. In the UK, prices start from £48,995 including VAT.
The most important upgrade is the suspension. Caterham worked with Bilstein to develop a bespoke setup specifically for this edition, using the company’s vertical dynamics test rig. The goal was to create a Seven that feels sharp and capable on track, but still usable on the road.

Power comes from a naturally aspirated 2.0-liter Ford Duratec engine producing 210 hp at 7,600 rpm. Combined with the Seven’s low weight, that gives the Nürburgring Edition a power-to-weight ratio of 375 hp per tonne. The car uses a five-speed manual gearbox, accelerates from 0–60 mph in 3.8 seconds and reaches a top speed of 136 mph.
The exterior is available in three Nürburgring-inspired colors: Verkehrsrot, Achatgrau and Basaltgrau. Custom paint options will also be offered. The car also gets a red Nürburgring track-day roll bar, a special mesh grille with a dual-color Seven logo, a 620-style nosecone with carbon aero whiskers and a Gunmetal Grey chassis.
Other details include carbon front wings, black exterior trim, a composite aero screen and LED rear lights. Each car also receives official Nürburgring branding, reinforcing its status as a licensed tribute model.

Inside, the theme continues with leather seats featuring Nürburgring embroidery and red stitching. The same red stitching appears on the transmission tunnel. Caterham also adds carbon interior panels, four-point road harnesses and sequential shift lights.
Each of the 100 cars will carry an individually numbered plaque.
The Nürburgring has long been part of Caterham history. The Seven’s lightweight, direct and mechanical character fits naturally with the demands of the 12.9-mile circuit, famous for its 73 corners, elevation changes and unforgiving layout. Caterham also has racing history there, including an 11th-place finish at the 2002 Nürburgring 24 Hours.
The Caterham Seven Nürburgring Edition will make its public debut during the 2026 ADAC 24 Hours of Nürburgring. Visitors will be able to see the car at the Caterham Nürburgring dealership and on the Bilstein stand in the paddock.
