Brabus Bodo is a 77-unit coachbuilt grand tourer honoring company founder Bodo Buschmann with a carbon-fiber body and a 1000 hp twin-turbo V12.

Brabus has moved beyond its usual high-performance tuning projects with the new Bodo, a limited-run coachbuilt grand tourer created in honor of company founder Bodo Buschmann. Only 77 units will be built worldwide, making it one of the most exclusive cars ever offered by the German brand.

The Bodo is loosely connected to the Aston Martin Vanquish, but Brabus has given it a completely different personality. The car uses unique carbon-fiber bodywork, a long-hood GT silhouette and a far more aggressive design than the British donor model.

At the front, the Bodo gets a large grille, two ram-air intakes, LED matrix headlights and a prominent splitter. The profile is defined by a long hood, a steeply raked windshield, a fixed panoramic glass roof and 21-inch wheels wrapped in specially developed Continental SportContact 7 Force tires.

Braking is handled by a carbon-ceramic system with 410 mm front discs and 360 mm rear discs. At the back, the car features stacked exhaust outlets and an active rear spoiler. Under hard braking above 140 km/h, the spoiler can deploy as an air brake.

The Bodo is larger than the Vanquish. It measures 5,062 mm long, 2,027 mm wide and 1,305 mm tall, giving it a more dramatic grand touring stance.

Inside, the Aston Martin connection is easier to spot, especially in the 2+2 layout. Still, Brabus has redesigned key areas, including a new dashboard section with circular air vents and a revised steering wheel with carbon-fiber trim and a B emblem.

The cabin uses premium leather, carbon fiber and Shadow Gray accents. The seats are shaped for long-distance comfort as well as lateral support, and their backrests feature an embroidered silhouette of the car. Buyers also receive a weekender bag trimmed in the same leather as the interior.

The heart of the Bodo is a 5.2-liter twin-turbo V12 producing 986 hp and 1,200 Nm of torque. That is a major increase over the standard Vanquish’s output. Power is sent through an eight-speed automatic transmission.

Performance is firmly in super-GT territory. Brabus claims 0–100 km/h in 3.0 seconds, 0–300 km/h in 23.9 seconds and a top speed of 360 km/h.

The car uses an aluminum monocoque and has a dry weight of 1,774 kg. The suspension combines double wishbones at the front with a multi-link layout at the rear, developed together with KW. A front lift system can raise the nose by 25 mm to help clear ramps and speed bumps.

Despite the extreme performance, Brabus has included modern driver-assistance systems such as automatic emergency braking, lane-keeping assist, lane-change assist, blind-spot monitoring and traffic-sign recognition.

Pricing starts at €1 million. Each car also comes with a blockchain-based digital product passport stored in the cargo area, documenting authenticity, ownership and vehicle specification.
