Bentley Flying Spur enters a new generation with cleaner styling, single front headlamps, V8 hybrid power and the return of the performance-focused S model.

Bentley has introduced the latest-generation Flying Spur, updating its flagship sedan with a cleaner exterior design, new hybrid powertrains and expanded luxury options. The model is available to specify now, with first deliveries expected in the fourth quarter of 2026.

The biggest visual change is at the front. For the first time since 1962, a Bentley sedan returns to single front headlamps, bringing the Flying Spur closer to the design language of the latest Continental GT. The radiator grille is now integrated into the front bumper, while the front wings have been smoothed out and no longer use the previous vent detail.

Bentley has also reworked the rear with a new boot lid, cleaner surfacing, redesigned rear lamps and a body-colored number plate surround. New 22-inch wheel finishes are available on both Azure and S models. Production is scheduled to begin in Crewe in September.

The Flying Spur S also returns as the sportier version of the range. It uses Bentley’s High Performance Hybrid powertrain, producing 680 PS and 930 Nm of torque. That is 130 PS more than the previous Flying Spur S and nearly 20 percent more power than before. The sedan accelerates from 0–60 mph in 3.6 seconds or 0–100 km/h in 3.7 seconds, with a top speed of 191 mph.

The S model also receives Bentley’s Performance Active Chassis, including Active All Wheel Drive, twin-valve dampers, torque vectoring, 48V Bentley Dynamic Ride active anti-roll control and new ESC software. For the first time on a Flying Spur S, it also includes an electronic limited-slip differential.

Its styling is darker and more aggressive than the standard car. The Blackline Specification adds gloss-black matrix grilles, black Bentley wings, black lettering, Beluga black mirror caps, dark-tinted LED matrix headlights, dark rear lamps and sports exhaust finishers.

Inside, Bentley now offers five seat styles, each requiring 12 hours of handcraftsmanship. Depending on specification, buyers can choose fluted or advanced quilted inserts, with the focus ranging from comfort and wellness to stronger lateral support.

The Mulliner Virtuoso Collection is now available for the Flying Spur as well. It includes the Naim for Mulliner audio system, unique embroidery, refined materials and Champagne Gold detailing. Three themes are offered: Soprano, Tenor and Bass, ranging from lighter interiors to darker, more dramatic combinations.

Bentley describes the Naim for Mulliner setup as its most immersive audio system yet. It uses 21 speakers and technology derived from Focal’s Grand Utopia speakers, with special “M” cone designs for improved rigidity, lightness and damping.

A new exterior paint called Dark Teal also joins the palette. Bentley describes it as a mid-blue metallic shade with green undertones, intended to give the car a more contemporary and nature-inspired look.

With the new Flying Spur, Bentley is aligning its flagship sedan more closely with the latest Continental GT while keeping the core formula intact: handcrafted British luxury, grand-touring comfort and performance strong enough to challenge dedicated sports cars.
