Sterling

Sterling was a short-lived British luxury automobile brand created for the U.S. market by Austin Rover Group in 1987. Its main model, the Sterling 825/827, was based on the Rover 800 and shared its platform with the Acura Legend. Sterling was discontinued in North America after the 1991 model year due to weak sales and limited dealer support.
