Spyker

Spyker is a historic Dutch automotive brand with roots dating back to 1880, when the Spyker brothers founded a company producing carriages and later automobiles. The original automaker became known for advanced engineering, luxury cars, and early aviation technology, but disappeared in 1926. The name was revived in 1999 by Dutch entrepreneur Victor Muller, who created a new low-volume exotic-car manufacturer producing hand-built models such as the C8 Spyder, C8 Laviolette, and C12 LaTurbie. Spyker became famous for its aviation-inspired design and interiors before the modern company declared bankruptcy in 2014.
