Originally founded in the USSR, Moskvich (meaning “a native of Moscow”) produced affordable, durable cars primarily for the domestic market and other Eastern Bloc countries. They weren’t flashy, but they were built to survive tough conditions—cold weather, rough roads, minimal maintenance.
