McMurtry Automotive is a British electric performance car company founded in 2016 under Sir David McMurtry. It is best known for the McMurtry Spéirling, a tiny single-seat electric fan car that uses a “Downforce-on-Demand” system to create massive grip even at low speeds. The Spéirling became famous after breaking the Goodwood Festival of Speed hillclimb record, and the production Spéirling Pure is positioned as an extreme track-only EV with around 1,000 hp, carbon-fiber construction, and near-racing-car performance.
