March Engineering was a British racing car constructor founded in 1969 by Max Mosley, Alan Rees, Graham Coaker, and Robin Herd — the name came from their initials. March built customer race cars for Formula 1, Formula 2, Formula 3, Can-Am, IndyCar, and sports car racing, becoming especially important as a supplier of competitive chassis. Although its F1 success was limited, March became highly influential in junior formulas and American racing.
