Hongqi

Hongqi, meaning “Red Flag” in Chinese, is a prestigious automotive brand owned by FAW Group, one of China’s largest state-owned automobile manufacturers. Established in 1958, Hongqi holds the distinction of being China’s oldest passenger car brand. Initially, Hongqi vehicles were exclusively used by high-ranking government officials, including Chairman Mao Zedong.
