The Cadillac XT5 is a midsize luxury crossover that debuted for 2017 as the successor to the SRX, anchoring the brand's SUV lineup. Built on GM's C1 platform, it offers a standard 3.6-liter V6 paired to an automatic transmission, with front- or available all-wheel drive. Inside, the XT5 emphasizes comfort and refinement, featuring upscale materials, a spacious cabin, and Cadillac's CUE infotainment system, later updated for improved usability. Its smooth ride, quiet cabin, and confident highway manners made it a strong alternative to German and Japanese rivals. A 2020 refresh brought styling tweaks and added tech, keeping the XT5 competitive as Cadillac's best-selling model before giving way to the XT5's successor.
