The Audi Cabriolet, produced from 1991 to 2000, was a four-seat convertible built on the platform of the Audi 80/90 Coupe. Elegant and understated, it featured a fully lined power soft top, a solid, rattle-free body structure, and a refined cabin typical of Audi's early-90s craftsmanship. Engines ranged from four-cylinder units to smooth inline-five and V6 options, paired with front-wheel drive and available quattro all-wheel drive on some variants. Offering relaxed open-air touring rather than sporty thrills, it appealed to buyers wanting understated luxury and everyday usability, making it a distinctive alternative to Mercedes and BMW convertibles of its era.
