Facelift

The Acura CDX debuted in 2016 as Acura's entry-level subcompact luxury crossover, sold exclusively in China and built on a Honda HR-V-derived platform. It offered a 1.5L engine with hybrid and turbocharged options, targeting younger buyers, before production ended in 2022 without a direct successor.

The Acura CDX is a compact luxury crossover produced mainly for the Chinese market from 2016 to 2022. It was Acura’s first locally built SUV in China, offering turbocharged and hybrid powertrains, a premium interior, and a smaller, city-friendly position below the RDX.

It offers a lineup of premium sedans and SUVs, including the Integra, TLX, RDX, MDX, and the all-electric ZDX. Acura is known for its “Precision Crafted Performance” philosophy, blending advanced technology with dynamic driving experiences. The brand is transitioning toward electrification, with models like the ZDX built on GM’s Ultium platform. Additionally, Acura plans to introduce the RSX, its first original electric vehicle featuring Honda’s proprietary platform and the Asimo operating system, by 2026.
